Purpose

The purpose of this project is not to evaluate if science fiction has become very popular lately or to discuss the possible danger in it, it is purely for my own pleasure, because I like science fiction.

I limited my "background information" on science fiction down to a brief description of Swedish science fiction in literature and television, because I am pretty sure that anyone reading this is familiar with the basic features of science fiction like Jules Verne and Star Wars. After all, the translation of the Battlestar Galactica pilot is the main part of the project. The other parts are there to give you a grasp of the whole context.
